Joanne Eastwood has been an integral part of Bowen Sports Performance for the past 15 years. During this time, she has worked with numerous individuals, each with a unique set of personal goals. Her unwavering commitment and dedication to her work are evident in her client’s progress and success, making them feel valued and important.
Joanne is a highly qualified professional. She holds certifications as a personal trainer, triathlon and cycling coach.
Joanne’s extensive knowledge comes from 25 years of personal training experience and 30 years of racing experience, Including winning two national age group titles and competing in time trails, road racing, triathlons, cyclo-cross and mountain biking events throughout her career.
She has tailored training plans for athletes who have turned professional, age-group athletes searching to improve their performance, and athletes whose goals range from riding their first Century without breaking down to building functional strength and body awareness for individuals looking to improve and enjoy specific activities they participate in.
She has also worked with clients on their technical bike skills, improving their corning, becoming more comfortable with descending, and even learning to change gears to tackle demanding terrain.
Joanne has worked with individuals as a personal trainer to build strength, power, and stability. This includes seasoned athletes and aging athletes to keep them strong and injury-free. As we age, strength training becomes an integral part of maintaining and enjoying life and, for any athlete, increasing performance. She doesn’t just work with athletics but various clients with individual goals. She has also helped clients create strength plans for in-home workouts.
Joanne’s greatest strength is seeing and meeting each client where they are at and helping them progress to a new level of fitness.
